The fishing in Siberia is absolutely incredible, with grayling, perch and pike all endemic to the area. Our wilderness lodges are hidden away in the middle of nature, allowing you to completely relax. Whilst you’re out fishing, your banya will be prepared for you, and your lodge chef will prepare your meals allowing you the freedom to simply enjoy this wonderful place.
With two locations available, depending on the size of your party and the fishing you’d like to do, we can help you plan your perfect fishing trip in the Russian Arctic! In winter you’ll take snowmobiles to the lodge, and in the summer a boat or light aircraft flight can deliver you right to the door.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Salekhard
Arrive at Salekhard airport and transfer to the hotel where you’ll check-in before having an arrival briefing about what to expect in the days ahead. Our local guides will check that your gear is suitable for the expedition. This will be your opportunity to let us know about your prior experience and goals so we can help you get the most out of your fishing trip.
In the afternoon we can organise a tour of Salekhard (the only city in the world directly located on the Arctic Circle) or you can explore by yourself. We suggest visiting the Shimanovsky museum, with its exhibitions of Nenets ethnology, archaeology and natural history, or the reconstructed wooden Obdorsky jail.

Days 2-6 – Fishing Lodge
We’ll collect you from the hotel after breakfast and transfer you to your lodge. Our route there will depend on the time of year of your visit.
In winter, there are two options for your 140km transfer, depending on the weather. The first will see us split the travel between vehicles and snowmobiles, and the second option that you can request is to make the whole trip by snowmobile.
In the summer we normally reach the lodge by boat and vehicle, but for those who want an extra adventure and more time fishing, we can organise a transfer by small plane. The flight is an amazing opportunity to get a birds-eye view of one of the most impressive landscapes on Earth!
No matter what option you choose, you’ll start your trip with a real adventure.
You’ll be accompanied by one of our experienced guides who will make sure you’re comfortably settled in and know where to find everything you need for the week ahead. They will be available to you throughout your stay to show you the best spots for fishing, and facilitate your schedule.

Day 7 – Lodge to Salekhard
Transfer back to Salekhard today where you’ll check in to a local hotel for your last night. This evening we can arrange for you to enjoy a trip to the banya in Salekhard or you can simply relax in your room before enjoying dinner together as a group.

Day 8 – Depart Salekhard
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airport to catch your flight.
